Since it’s birth in February of 2002, Animatters has served a wide variety of clients on an equally diverse range of projects. Specializing in animation for the web, television and film, Animatters has all the tools to compete with large production houses but with far less overhead. Animatters operates on the Mac platform utilizing industry leading software which brings the tools for our creativity right to our desktops.

So why Animatters? Thought you’d never ask! Thanks to today’s technology and the market demand for creative communications smaller companies like Animatters are able to compete on a much broader playing field by providing our customers with a top notch product at real world rates. The resulting low overhead thanks to accessibility of technology enables us to develop projects that equal if not surpass that which larger development firms and production houses would generate – all the while giving our clients the ability to interact directly with the visual designer as opposed to some sales rep that may or may not understand the limitations of the project and the technologies being implemented.

Animation and Production

Animation and production is a specialty of Animatters Animation & Design Studios. In what has been a very short time in business we have produced a vast array of footage in both the 2d and 3d environment for broadcast, video, film and the web. Our client base covers a diverse range encompassing everything from neighborhood appliance stores to the Sustainable Resource Development department of the Alberta government.

Web Design and Development

Our primary goal in web development is to inject more life into the web as consumers know it today. Through the use of tastefully applied motion and interactivity we develop sites that break away from the norms of today making efficient, effective use of the technologies available to us. Animatters, in co-operation with Insite Developers and Infodine Systems, provides the right solution for every web demand from static information-based sites right through to fully integrated solutions.

Print Design

Print design is where Kelly Davies, the founder of Animatters, dug in his roots nearly ten years ago. As such it remains a staple in the list of services that Animatters provides. We have serviced an innumerable variety of clients on an equally extensive range of print projects. Whether it’s single run outdoor or print advertising or complete promotional packages for your event – Animatters is a perfect fit.
